Lady Lions take Waco-Connally 38-34

In a close game marked by a slew of fouls, the Lady Lions emerged victorious against the Waco-Connally Lady Cadets, playing hard up until the last buzzer.
The Lady Lions started off on the right foot with freshman Jolee Haley scoring a 3-pointer in the first quarter, and the rest of the team pulling together to knock down 10 points, holding the Lady Cadets to 6 points, and ending the first quarter with a slight advantage, 10-6.
Teague managed to keep up the pace in the second quarter, tallying an additional 10 points and holding the Lady Cadets to 7 points, ending the first half 20-13.
