Lady Lions remain unbeaten in district after defeating Buffalo 56-42

The Teague Lady Lions stepped on the gas early in the first quarter and never let up in their big win over their district rival the Lady Bisons of Buffalo.

It didn’t take long for them to grab an early lead and never look back. The Lady Lions jumped out to a 19-12 lead to end the first quarter.

With good shooting from the field and a stifling full court press defense, the Lady Lions forced three back to back to back turnovers and getting points on each one of them in the middle of the second quarter. This forced head coach J.J. Guidry of Buffalo to call a timeout at the 4:00 mark of the first quarter to try to rally his players.
