Lady Lions perfect in district play
The Teague Lady Lions ran their district record to 3-0 with a three-game sweep of Frankston at home on Friday, Sept. 15. Game scores were 25-14, 25-7, 25-11.
Lady Lion setter seemed to be playing with some extra enthusiasm. She had her usual plethora of assists (23), but added 4 kills, 5 digs and 3 blocks.
Teague had its share of hitting errors in the first game, with half of Frankston’s points coming courtesy of Lady Lion errors. However, Teague kept Frankston on its heals the whole game, with Madison Steen, Destanee Roblow, Caelyn Thompson and Layla Knight all recording kills to go with Frankston errors.
