Lady Lions outlast Shiro in home-opener

The Teague Lady Lions got stronger as their first home match wore on Tuesday night, and, after dropping the first game, came through with a 4-1 victory over Anderson-Shiro, 22-25, 27-25, 25- 17, 25-18.

“I’m pleased they didn’t have that mindset, that poor me,” said Ashley Montalvo, Teague head volleyball coach. “We didn’t have a good tournament (last week), so this was good to see.”
