Lady Lions fall to Academy in Bi-District, ending season

The Teague Lady Lions fell 9-4 to the Little River Academy Lady Bumblebees on Thursday night and 9-5 on Friday night in the Bi-District Championship at Whitney High School. Teague ends the season with an overall record of 19-8.
On Thursday night, Little River Academy scored three runs in the top of the first inning and Teague scored two runs in the bottom of the inning to make it a 3-2 game. Keely Mathis hit an in-thepark home run for the Lady Lions. Tori Skinner also hit a home run to left field for Teague.
