Lady Lions dominate La Vega in second half for win

The Lady Lions battled on against La Vega Lady Pirates at home on Nov. 20. Coming from behind, after a slow first quarter, the Lady Lions (1-3) earned their first win of the season 46-35.
La Vega, coming in at 2-4, showed up the Lady Lions taking the lead in the first quarter 10-12.
“This is a young team and I had to tell our girls to settle down,” Nickleberry said.
