Lady Lions defeat Elkhart 11-4

The Lady Lions defeated Elkhart 11-4 on Friday night and also picked-up a victory after a forfeit by Crockett on Tuesday night. The wins move Teague to 12-3 on the season and 3-2 in district play.

Kaylee Cuevas gave up seven hits throughout the game against the Lady Elks while striking out 14 batters. The Lady Lions had 15 hits throughout the game, including a homerun by Cuevas in the first inning that allowed three runners to score. Tori Skinner, Adelina James, Reese Stacks, and Kaylee Cuevas all had multiple hits for the Lady Lions. Skinner led the way with four hits.

Teague hosted the Fairfield Lady Eagles on Tuesday night. The Lady Lions will travel to Buffalo on Friday night to take on the Lady Bison at 6 p.m. before heading to Westwood on Friday night to take on the Lady Panthers at 6pm.
