Lady Lions 8-0: Next stop back to Frankston

The Teague Lady Lions continue to perfect their district record after defeating Leon Lady Cougars at home 63-44 on Jan. 16.
Starting out the Lady Lions seemed a little lethargic for the fi rst four minutes of the game with the score at 1-6.
“Being Senior Night, this was a very emotional night for all of us,” said Teague coach Chris Nickleberry. ”I have coached these seniors since they were in Pony League. We started off a little slow. The emotions were high for the seniors. This is why I do it early instead of late to get the emotions out of the way.”
