Hair optimistic for success

Lions Head Basketball Coach Chris Hair is starting his second season as head coach for the Lions and expects to find his team in the regional tournament by the end of the season.
“We are only four practices in and we have already had our first game,” Hair said. “We won against Rice Tuesday night by a score of 59-40. This is a great beginning to the season.”
All of the Lions basketball team, with the exception of four players, played football together and have camaraderie with each other going into the basketball season.
