Defending champ Grandview roughs up Teague

Welcome to varsity, Jake.

Teague High School freshman Jake Callahan started his first varsity game Friday, Oct. 4. It was the Lions’ district opener … it was on the road … against Grandview … last year’s state champion … this year’s No. 2-ranked team … that was 5-0 heading into the game.

Callahan completed 7-of-15 passes for 51 yards and 2 interceptions in the 52-7 loss. He spread the ball around to six receivers.
