Aguilera qualifies for XC state meet

The Lions Cross Country team traveled to Huntsville Monday, Oct. 22 to compete in the Regional meet. Lizette Aguilera finished in seventh place with a time of 12:38.6 to qualify her to compete in the state track meet.
This will be the fourth trip to state for the senior Aguilera.
“My times and finishes have improved every year,” she said. “I have to work really hard to finish in the top five, which is my goal.”
