WILLIAM SIDNEY (SID) LOTT

William Sidney (Sid) Lott Sr., 70, of Fairfield passed away Sept. 26, 2021, in Waco. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m Thursday, Sept. 30, at Capps Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 1, at Capps Memorial Chapel with David Barnes, Sid Lott Jr. and Dr. David Lott officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Sid was born Sept. 25, 1951, in Fairfield to parents, Raymond Lee Lott Sr. and Hattie Faye Smith Lott. He married Kay Campbell on Nov. 19, 1971, and she preceded him in death on May 30, 2014. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Charles and Mona Bradley.

He was an avid rancher and was employed by TXI for 40 years and truly loved his job.

Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Sid Lott Jr. and wife Nikki of Fairfield, Allen Lott and wife Soncharae of Fairfield; grandchildren, Brittany Kennedy and husband Cody, Meagan Lott Carver and husband Cameron, Cayden Rojas-Lott and Bralee Lott; great-grandchildren, Brennon Kennedy, Brayden Kennedy, Emersyn Carver; brothers , Jack Lott, J.T. Lott, Floyd Lott and Oscar Lott; sister Darlene Hughes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to his brother Oscar Lott, Shirley Lott, Joanne Wheeler and Reliant Hospice for caring for him the last several years.
