Funeral services for Vicki Lynn Carpenter Bohannon, 58, took place Monday, Oct. 22, at Bowers Funeral Home. Bro. Dalton Currie officiated. Interment followed at New Hope Cemetery near Jewett. Ms. Bohannon passed away Oct. 17, 2018 at her residence in Pasadena. Vicki was born July 14, 1960 in Mexia. She grew up in Pasadena and attended Pasadena High School. She is survived by her four children, Christine Place, Patrick Place, Charles Bohannon and wife Shelley, Elizabeth Cox and husband Chad; her mother, Betty Carpenter; one brother, Bobby Carpenter and wife Stormy; two sisters, Lisa Fincher and husband Gary, and Patricia Edmission; nine grandchildren, Victoria, Celeste, Mark James, Peyton, Keith, Samantha, Hailey, Connor, and Clayton; one great-grandchild, Aubrey; numerous, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Robert Carpenter; and one grandchild, Robert Scott Bohannon.
