Tommy Estes Wilson

Tommy Estes Wilson, 74, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2018, at his residence near Teague. Visitation took place Monday, Sept. 10, at Bowers Funeral Home. Cremation will followed the visitation and there were no other services. Wilson was born in Overton Dec. 31, 1943, and grew up in Henderson. He moved to Teague with his family in June of 1960. Tommy served in the U. S. Navy. After his service he worked for Leon’s Garage as a mechanic for a few years, but spent most of his working life as an electrician. Wilson married LaShell Millen Oct. 7, 2000 and they shared over 17 years of marriage together. He loved to fish and work on boat motors and had a fascination with old cars. Tommy was a member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague. He is survived by his wife, LaShell Wilson of Teague; one son, Keith Wilson and wife Courtney of Montalba; four grandchildren, Jake Wilson and wife Mindy, Luke Wilson, Bella Wilson, and Beckham Wilson; one great-granddaughter, Hadleigh Wilson; two sisters, Paula Dunklin and husband Tom Frank of Crosby, and Jackie Rasbeary and husband Ron of Teague; several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. His parents, Paul and Louise Wilson, preceded Mr. Wilson in death. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made to the Freestone Cancer Support Group, P.O.
