SHEILA GAIL BLACK

A memorial service for Sheila Gail Black, 63, was held on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.

Ms. Black passed away on Sept. 27 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth.

Sheila was born on Feb. 10, 1957 in Carlsbad, New Mexico to parents Donald Stonecipher and Helen Stonecipher. She lived around Limestone and Freestone County most of her life. Sheila was a Registered Nurse at Parkview Regional Hospital for the last 16 years. She always wanted to help people. Sheila really enjoyed woodworking but could do about anything she set her mind to. She was really looking forward to retirement so she could work on things around the house and spend time with her grandkids.

Sheila is survived by her three children, Clyde Allen & wife Rosalind of Houston, Joel Black & wife Destiny of Teague, and Martin Black & wife Marsha of Lanely; seven grandchildren, Bella Allen, Ashlynn Allen, Carson Black, Jackson Black, Bryceson Black, Emery Black, and Parker Black; and her sister, Sheri Peterson & husband Ken of Irving.

Ms. Black was preceded in death by her husband, A. D. Black; one son, Ricky Allen; her parents, Don & Helen Stonecipher; and her brother, Perry Stonecipher.
