Richard (Rick) Bosley, 68, of Wortham, died Monday, June 4, 2018 in Waco. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Friday, June 8 at Capps Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Dale Hergett officiating. Interment followed at Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin. Pallbearers were Roger Hogue, Jerry Festervand, Beckett Kelm, Kevin Kleb, Ryan Bosley and Harold Myers. Rick was born Oct. 15, 1949 in Houston to parents William Larry and Ellen Jean Easley Bosley. Rick married Valerie Wunderlich on June 7, 1969. He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1972 and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for service in Vietnam. He was retired from Basic Energy in Teague. He was a member of the V.F.W. Wilbur H. Bailey Post 5872 in Fairfield. Rick enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Benny Bosley. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Valerie; one son, Chris Bosley and wife Lori of Wortham; two grandchildren, Leevi and Garrett Bosley.
