Richard Paul Owens, 69, passed away Jan. 21, 2019 in Ajijic, Mexico where he and his wife, Sandra, had retired.
Richard was born Aug. 17, 1949 in Houston to Clarence Leo and Margaret Owens.
He graduated from Strake Jesuit Catholic School in Houston. He attended Texas Tech in Lubbock studying diesel mechanics.
Richard married Sandra Adams and they raised two children, Richard Paul Owens II and Brandy Elaine Cannon. by his parents Clarence and Margaret Owens and his wife Sandra Owens.
He is survived by four sisters, Margie Carnew and husband Calvin, Mary Tinsley and husband Roy, Sharon Worley and husband Russell, Martha Leslie and husband David; his children, Richard Owens II and wife Debbie, Brandy Cannon and husband Buddy; three grandchildren, Bayley Russell Cannon, Bates Richard Cannon and Alyssa Ginette Owens.
