THE REV . EDDIE ANDREW ANDERSON

The Angelic Hosts came for The Rev. Eddie Andrew Anderson at his residence on Huntington Drive in Conroe on Monday, Jan. 6, 2020, among loving family and devoted friends. Funeral Services were held Saturday, Jan. 18, in the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Fairfield. The Rev. Estelle McIlveen of Houston officiated and the Rev. Daryl Carter, pastor of Carver Heights Baptist Church in Dallas, preached. Interment was in the New Zion Cemetery, Fairfield.

The Rev. Anderson was born in Fairfield to the parentage of Eddie Anderson Sr. and Lillie Mae Ransom Anderson. At the time of his passing, he was the senior pastor of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Fairfield. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Barnes Anderson; sons the Rev. W.C. Anderson; stepsons, George Heggins Jr. and wife Lawanya, Christopher Heggins and wife Deandra; daughters, Shirlean Florence and husband Gerald, Gwen Daniels and husband Jerall, and Catrina Heggins; sisters, Mattie Owens and husband Chester; Mae Della Jackson and husband Lee; and Mary Malone; brothers, Fred Anderson, Sammy Anderson and Joy Bell Anderson; nine grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
