REGINA ELIZABETH FREDERICK ROBINSON

Regina Elizabeth Frederick Robinson was reunited with her Heavenly Father and beloved son, Case, on March 1, 2022. She passed at the age of 57 at her home in Bonnerville. Regina was a wife, mother, mum, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.

Regina was born in Houston, on Dec. 13, 1964, to Sharon and the late David Frederick. Regina graduated from Teague High School in 1983 then attended Navarro College and The University of Texas. She welcomed her first child, Olivia, in 1988, with Chris Davis. In 1992 she married the love of her life, George Robinson. Regina and George’s family grew in 1994 with a son, Zane, and in 1996 with another daughter, Savannah. She spent many years raising her children, volunteering at school, and helping those in need. As her children grew, she always mentioned the thought of adoption. Little did she know that through an answered prayer, Case would be added to the family in 2007.

Throughout Regina’s life, she balanced working at the law office and raising children. The children she raised weren’t just her own. She was passionate about helping the local children in need and serving others. Regina was named Fairfield Citizen of the Year for her work with the local Meals on Wheels. She was also highly involved in the service sorority, Alpha Phi Psi. Many people were helped, memories were made, and lasting relationships were forged through her charitable works. She was an involved member of Fairfield-Harmony Presbyterian Church. Regina spent the following years going to sports practices, competitions, school activities, and anything else in which her children were involved. When Case joined the family, she quickly adjusted to life with a newborn, and Case became her constant passenger to all of her older children’s events. There is no doubt she loved her children fiercely.

Regina was known for her many sayings. She loved to tell everyone to have a “beautiful birthday” and reminded everyone of their beauty. To be her friend was to be loved by her. In-person, on the phone, or by text message – she told you. A big hug and “I love you” were staples in every visit. A reminder to “be kind” was a constant over the last few years. She was a beautiful, loving, kind woman who shared those attributes with many. She served as vice president of Kindness from Case Memorial Foundation, where she continued spreading love and kindness to the community while providing for children in need.

Regina is survived by her husband, George, of almost 30 years; her loving children, Olivia and husband Stephen, Zane and wife Kristen, and Savannah and husband Drake. She was a Mum to grandchildren, Lorelai and Ridge. Regina was best friend and loving sister to Courtney Pytel; daughter to Sharon Cofran and husband George. She was blessed by a large, loving, ever-growing family. Regina’s circle of friends was an extension of her family, and she loved them as such.

Regina was preceded in death by her grandparents; father ,David Frederick; and favorite aunt, Linda. In September of 2018, her youngest son Case left his earthly home. We find comfort and peace knowing of the joyous reunion in Heaven.

Visitation was from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, at Calvary Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11 a.m. Pallbearers are Zane Robinson, Drake Chambers, Stephen Hays, Kerry, Bryce and Brock Brandl. Honorary pallbearers are Jack Pytel, Little Roy Bonner, Johnny Cryar, Eddie Shultz and Randy Robinson. In the coming days and weeks, we encourage you to be kind to each other, tell your people you love them, and maybe watch an episode of “Gunsmoke.” We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and unending support; in the words of Regina, “We love you more!”
