NORMA RUTH HUNTER

Norma Ruth Hunter, 79, of Streetman, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 at her residence. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at Woodland Cemetery near Kirvin with Evangelist Don Thornton officiating. A visitation will precede the service at 1 p.m. Dec. 3 also at Woodland Cemetery.

Mrs. Hunter, a retired registered nurse was born April 17, 1941 in Wichita Falls to parents Malcolm and Verlia Mae Chadwick Hunter.

She was a long time Freestone County resident and member of Fairfield Christian Center.

Mrs. Hunter loved gardening, playing the piano and especially studying her Bible.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister.

Left to cherish her memory are two children, Terri Borter and husband Edward of Streetman; Travis James Harker and wife Briggette of Springtown; one brother, Eddie Carrolll Hunter and wife Melissa of Wichita Falls; three grandchildren, Edward Allan Borter of Fairfield; Zackary Allan Borter of Teague; Harley Jane Harker of Austin; a niece, Mindy Hunter of California
