The Angelic Hosts came for Minister Hall at his residence in Mexia among loving family and devoted friends.

Viewing will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 1:00 PM-7:00 PM in Moore's Angelic Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICES will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the First Baptist Church, 500 East Carthage Street, Mexia, Texas with Rev. Gregory Horn officiating, and Superintendent Don Manning, Eulogist.  Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery, West Hwy 84, Mexia.  Moore's Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe Street, Teague, Texas is serving the Hall Family.  

Minister Ruzy Hall Sr., the second child of Henry Hall and Lois Banks Hall, was born in Freestone County, Texas on November 30, 1927. God called him from labor to reward Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was 89 years old. 

Minister Hall grew up in Salem and Palestine communities. He accepted Christ as has personal Lord and Savior in 1954 under the ministry of Elder A.L. Reaves. Minister Hall served as the YPWW ( Young People Willing Workers) president for many years at Tucker Church of God in Christ in the Tucker community.

Minister Hall accepted a call to ministry July 191. He later served as assistant pastor under the leadership of Elder Reaves at Tucker COGIC.

in 1969, Minister Hall moved to Mexia, Texas where he became a member and served at Salvation lighthouse Church COGIC under the leadership of Elder L. Cameron. He later served under the leaderships of Elder E.L. Baptist, Elder T.R. McLeymore, and Supt L.J. Manning. Minister Hall continued his membership at Salvation Lighthouse under the leadership of Pastor Don Manning until his death.

Minister Hall was a World War II Veteran and was active in the Mexia community.

Minister Hall is preceded in death by his mother Lois Banks Hall, father Henry Hall, sisters Victoria Majors and Daisy Micheaux, brother Willie Fred Johnson, daughter Bernice Darden.

Surviving Family members are: 

Sisters Culetta (husband Lonnie) Micheaux, Dossie Jackson, Gloria Jackson. Brother W.J. Johnson.

Sons: Cecil (wife Dorothy) Hall, Jerry (wife Carolyn) Hall, Terry Hall, Claudel (Venoya) Hall, Ruzy Hall, Jr.

Daughter: Regina (husband Jerry) Noble

Host of Grandchildren. Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren.
