Marla Jean Hall

Graveside services for Marla Jean Hall took place Tuesday, Dec. 15, at 1 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague. Bro. Scott Matthews officiated.

Visitation took place prior to the service Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hall passed away on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at her residence near Teague.

She was born in Teague Sept. 5, 1944, and lived in Freestone County almost all of her life. She married Walter Lane Hall and shared over fifty-six years of marriage together. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Mrs. Hall loved her family more than anything, and her goal in life was for them to be happy. Her family was her world.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Lane Hall of Teague; three children, Kenneth Lane Hall and wife Ronneece of Kyle, Melissa Suzanne Hall Bodine and husband Jody, and Timothy Wayne Hall and wife Jessica all of Teague; eight grandchildren, RaeLynn Marie Polzine, Cheyenne Renee Polzine and partner Anthony, Hunter Wayne Hall, Katelin Christine Bodine, Avrie Lane Hall, Madison Marie Hall, Jarrett Paul Bodine, and Si Blaine Howle; six great-grandchildren, Alice Nicole Smith, Kimberly Marie Osmond, Kristian Morgan Osmond, Kaydance Monroe Osmond, Joseph King Calderon, and Ryder Lane Hall; two brothers, Ray Arch Brown and Heidi and Larry Wayne Brown; one sister, Linda Brown Allison; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, Ray August and Laura Sheffield Brown; and by one granddaughter, Brianna Nicole Polzine.
