The Angelic Hosts came for Luease Stewart Sheppard on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at her residence among loving family and devoted friends. Viewing was held Friday, March 16 from 6-7 p.m. in the Union Memorial United Methodist Church, Sandy Community of Coolidge. Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 17 at 1 p.m. in the Northcrest Church Of Christ, 918 Tehuacana Rd, Mexia. The Reverend Leroy Goff officiated and Elder Alfred Iglehart was the Eulogist. Interment was in the Woodland Cemetery in Mexia. Survivors include: daughters: Mary S. Henry and husband, Lanny and Betty D. Bible and husband, Jonathan; siblings: Wanda Waters and Wyatt Morgan and wife, Thelma; 4 grandchildren: Chris Sheppard, Jimmy Courtney Durham, Tracie Smith-Bedeaux and husband, Jeff; Stacy Smith and wife, Cheryl; seven great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
