Funeral services for Kimble R. Sartor were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Johnny Veretto offi ciated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation was held prior to the services on Thursday beginning at 1 p.m. Sartor passed on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Baylor Scott & White in Plano. He was born in Freestone County in the Cedar Community to Weldon and Ronelda Sartor. He graduated from Teague High School with the class of 1953 and went to work, and later served in the U. S. Army from April 8, 1958, to April 9, 1960. After his military service, he worked for LTV and later General Dynamics as a materials estimator, working on numerous government contracts until his retirement in 1993. Sartor was an avid coin collector and he loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was a Baptist by faith. He is survived by one daughter, Tina Beth Luttrull and husband R. Scott of Rowlett; three grandchildren, Tanner Luttrull and Sam Luttrull both of Austin, and Tarynn Luttrull of Rowlett; one sister-in-law, Mary Sartor of Teague; three nieces, Dana Pate and husband Tim, Leslie Brown and husband David, and Kathy Sanchez; one nephew, Mark Sartor; other relatives and friends. Sartor was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jerrell Sartor and Charles Sartor; one sister-inlaw, Carolyn Sartor, and one nephew, Mike Sartor.
