Joseph (Jody) Little

Graveside services for Joseph (Jody) Little, 86, will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, at 3 p.m. at Dew Cemetery. Bro. Carl Clark will officiate. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2 p.m. at Dew United Methodist Church.

Mr. Little passed away on Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at Providence Hospital in Waco with his daughters by his side. Jody was born on June 6, 1936, to Henry Little and Frances Rosson. Joseph was in the United States Army. He served from Aug. 12, 1959, until Aug. 11, 1965, at which time he was honorably discharged.

Jody loved to travel with his wife Charlene and good friends Louis and Glenda Simpson. Anyone that knew him knew that he loved to talk about politics and was a die-hard Republican. He is survived by his daughters, Teresa Rowell and husband Tracy of Dew, and Tammy Atchley of Dew; seven grandchildren, Joey Rowell and Tayla, Rusty Rowell and wife Amber, Mindi Wooley, Shelby Wooley, Jordan Witcher, Hayden Hardwick, Colt Hardwick; three great-grandchildren, Evie Rowell, Sophia Rowell, Lily Rowell; five bonus grandchildren, Summer Dixon, Jordan Atchley, Cally Hardwick and Savannah and Dustin Witcher; and good friends, Glenda Simpson and Perry Newell.

Mr. Little was preceded in death by wife of 64 years, Charlene; his mother, Francis Rosson; his father, Henry Little; and his step-father, Gus Haney.
