John Allen Clayton

John Allen Clayton died Dec. 5, 2018. John was born Sept. 2, 1992.

He was 26. John is survived by his mother, Julie Powers and her husband Jeff of Houston; his father David Clayton and his wife Anne of La Porte; his sister Christy Steiger and her husband Garrett of Rapid City, SD; grandparents Ralph and Karen Elledge of Baytown and Doris Clayton of Billings, Mont. his uncle Chris Elledge and his fiancé Cristine Wood of Houston. He is also survived by very special friends Johnnie Johnson, Jake Joplin, and Ryan Lawrence, all of whom loved John like a brother.

Visitation took place Friday, Dec. 7 at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown. Funeral services took place Saturday, Dec. 8 at Westminster United Methodist Church with officiants Reverend Nick Scholars, Rev. Roddy Bland, Rev. Suzi Byrd, Rev. Frank Hart, and Rev. Nick Scholars. Reception followed.

The family requests that memorial gifts go towards either Westminster United Methodist Church or to Houston Hospice.
