JO OLIVE WATSON ZICKUHR

Jo Olive Watson Zickuhr, 79, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021, in Fairfield. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, at Capps Memorial Chapel with Pastors Spain and Bettye Trask officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Stewards Mill Cemetery.

Mrs. Zickuhr was born July 24, 1941, in Fairfield to parents Mildred Frances Chavers Watson and Edward Monroe Watson Jr. She lived for about 20 years in Tyler but returned to her native Fairfield and Freestone County in 1991. In addition to her ranching interests in Freestone County she served three terms on the Fairfield City Council.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Justin Turner of Fairfield; three grandchildren, Brandi Holcomb and husband Jason of Tyler, Ashley Jones and husband Alex of Fairfield, and Joseph Turner and wife Asilinn of Deltona, Fla.; andtwo great-grandchildren, Aiden Jones and Clara Grace Turner.
