Funeral services for Jerry W. Reeves, 80, took place Wednesday, May 29, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Interment followed the services at Salem Cemetery near Freestone. Visitation was Tuesday with the family present at the funeral home.

Mr. Reeves passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019, at his residence in Teague. He

was born in Pampa September 3, 1938, and grew up there. He married Mary Ann November 17, 1986, and shared over thirty-two years of marriage together.

Mr. Reeves worked on equipment for Big Brown in Fairfield for several years. He later moved to Florida where he worked over the maintenance of a condominium company for some twenty-one years and loved diving and being in the water. Mr. Reeves returned to Teague and worked maintenance for the Laundry business. After retiring, he enjoyed a daily routine of making rounds and visiting people in Teague. He was a regular coffee drinker with his friend R.B. Branch and others at Daps store and had many visits with Buck Jones and friends at Circle Hardware. He enjoyed watching Westerns on TV and loved his family very much. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Reeves of Teague; one son, Michael Reeves and wife Charlene of Gatesville; one daughter, Laressa Hall and husband Chris of Teague; numerus grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, George Reeves and wife Kathy of Rusk; other relatives and friends.
