Ahji spent her life in India, Virginia, and Texas where she lead many to the Lord. On her birthday in 1965, she met her husband, Robert, in Abilene.
On April 21, 1967, the two were married in Montana and moved to Texas.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; Rev. Ted and Rev. Estelle Vassar, brothers; Bobby Jo and Ted Vassar; and daughter; Gina Sullivan Neusch.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, Robert E. Sullivan of Teague; one son, Eddie Sullivan and wife, Kim S ullivan of Socorro, New Mexico; one daughter, Missy Newhouse and husband, Butch of Mexia,; one son-in-law, Michael Neusch of Canton; one sister, Dr. Ruth Burgess and husband of Stafford, Missouri; five grandchildren, John Sullivan, Emily Sullivan, Erin Neusch Bendiksen, Ian Sullivan, and Madison Newhouse; two great-grandchildren, Everleigh and Eleanor Bendiksen; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
