Emma Lou Gilliam

Funeral services for Emma Lou Gilliam, 89, will be held on Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Pastor Jordan Czichos will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the services on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.

Mrs. Gilliam passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022, in The Woodlands.

She is survived by three children, Steve Gilliam and wife Connie of Salado, Chuck Gilliam of Spring, and Ginger Gilmer of Conroe; seven grandchildren, Michelle Garcia and husband Andres, Chuck Gilliam, Jr., Melodie Ramirez and husband Jonathan, Stefanie Keller, Anna Edmonds and husband Odie, Storm Gilliam, and Jordan Czichos; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Wanda Johnson of Richmond; one niece, Chris Newell & husband Paul of Richmond; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Gilliam was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Ray Gilliam; one granddaughter, Mandy Gilliam; and daughter-in-law, Sheila Gilliam.
