EDNA GERTRUDE LITTLE

A Celebration of Life Service for Edna Gertrude Little, 80, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 27, at Cotton Gin Cemetery. Brother Roy Prather will officiate.

It is with great sadness that the family of Edna Gertrude Little of Teague announce her passing on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at the age of 80, after a long illness.

She was born in Teague, to Willie and Homer Little.

Edna grew up in Teague where she attended Teague High School. She spent many years working at the Mexia State School in Mexia. Edna loved to do gardening and spent hours in her garden. She also loved spending time with her many cats.

Edna will be lovingly remembered by her son, Anthony (Sherri) Pugh; grandchildren, Stefanie Poole, and Kristy Davis; great-grandchildren, Ellie, Alex and Olivia. A dear sister, Mari (Steve) Johnson; niece Arrie Sheila Palmer; nephew Kevin Johnson.

She was predeceased by her parents, Willie Edna and William Homer and nephew Christopher.

The family would like to thank Alicia Crain with Gentle Transition Hospice and the staff at the Teague Nursing Home for their care of Edna.
