Dusty George

Memorial services for Dusty George and Ashley Clark were held together on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.

Dusty and Ashley passed away suddenly on Monday, April 10, 2023, in an auto accident near Teague.

Dustin “Dusty” Cody George was born Dec. 10, 1982, in Rockdale to Sheree Karr and the late Kerry George, Sr. Dusty attended school in Normangee and Teague.

He was always known as a free spirit. He loved fishing, going to the beach and pretty much anything outdoors, including yardwork.

Dusty was always trying to fix something. He loved spending time with his kids and his best friend, Dan the Man, his dog.

He was super excited to become a PawPaw in June to Kaislyn Ruth.

Those left to cherish his memories are his four G eorge children, Bailey Ielati and husband Sammy of Teague, Heidi Brown, and Hailey and Landon George all of Normangee; the mother of his children, April Riddle; his mother, Sheree Karr and husband Jeff of Centerville; his brother, Kerry George, Jr.; his sister Brandy; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Kerry George, Sr.; and the mother of his daughter, Ashley Anne Clark.
