BETTY JANE DANIEL

Betty Jane Daniel, 95, of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, in Fairfield. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at Capps Memorial Chapel, with Sarah Hogden officiating. Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery.

Miss Daniel was born Oct. 9, 1926, in Fairfield to parents Sumpter Lee and Zelma Stetson Daniel. She was a graduate of Fairfield High School and attended Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie. She was employed later as an accountant with Griffith Enterprises in Houston. For a time, she was the church pianist at Fairfield Christian Center and Cornerstone Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Angie Daniel.

Left to cherish her memory are her cousins, Dr. Edward Lee Daniel, Eunice Barker, Shirley Noah, Dan Montgomery, Karon Daniel Elder, Martha Darr, Bobby Daniel, Jean Beasley, Gilbert Daniel and Billy Paul Daniel.
