BARBARA JONES COLE

Graveside services for Barbara Jones Cole, 75, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 21, at Dew Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Ms. Cole passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck.

She was born in Corsicana on Feb. 5, 1947, to Calvin and Anna Jones. She moved around a lot as a child with her family but settled in Cotton Gin where she’s lived the past 37 years. Barbara was a dedicated homemaker and worked several other jobs during her lifetime.

She is survived by one son, Tommy Cole of Cotton Gin; eight siblings, Ruby Boyte, Calvin Jones Jr., and Jimbo Jones, all of Cotton Gin, Mary Bell, of Groesbeck, Gloria Fry and Ben Jones, both of Teague, Shirley Wilson, of Waco, and Ruth Johnson ,of Wortham; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Cole; and her parents.
