ALBERT T. ROTH, JR.

Albert T. Roth, Jr., 80, of Fairfield, died Saturday, June 20, 2020 at his residence. Memorial services are set for 1 p.m. on July 3 at New Life Church in Fairfield with Pastor Andrew Weitner officiating.

Mr. Roth was born May 11, 1940 in Oneonta, New York to parents Albert T. Roth, Sr. and Alice Marble Roth. He had been a Freestone County resident for 20 years having relocated from Angleton, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam conflict. He married his wife Bonnie in 1978. He was a retired millwright and a member of the Assembly of God Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a step-father, Pete and a step-mother, Patricia; a sister, Alicia; two brothers, Ted and Charles; one son, Albert Patrick Roth and a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Roth.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Bonnie; four sisters, Diane, Betty, Patty and Faye; one brother, Bruce; eight children, Dawn Smith and husband Pat; Kenneth Roth; Barbara Edwards; Michael Roth; Kimberly Edwards; Patricia Gassett and husband Kurt; Jennifer Harris and husband Derrell; Julie Edwards and husband Andrew; 49 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, along with countless nieces and nephews.
