A’Draya Lynn Peyton Roberts passed away peacefully as she slept on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at her Cypress Street residence in Teague. Viewing will be held at the funeral home, Friday, Feb. 16, beginning at 1 p.m. with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 209 N. 6th Ave, Teague. Interment will be in the Hopewell Cemetery, Fairfield. A’Draya was the fourth child of Draylon Roberts and Alivia Evans and was born in Waco. Her paternal and maternal great-grandparents, Willie David Owens and Luster Williams, preceded her in death. Those who will cherish her memory include: her parents Draylon Roberts (Mexia) and Alivia Evans (Teague); her siblings: Darryn Spencer, Zyire Spencer, and Ava Roberts (Teague); her aunts: Ryneshia Brooks (Dallas), Janeria Roberts (Mexia), and Tracina Shepherd (Mexia); her uncles: Corey Evans and wife, Ariel (Teague), Michael Shepherd, Jr. (Mexia), Sergio Shepherd and wife, Jennifer (Dallas), and David Shepherd (Mexia); her maternal grandparents: Michael and Regina Shepherd (Teague) and Cory Evans, Sr. (Mexia); her paternal grandparents: Christopher and Cynthia Roberts (Mexia); her great-grandmothers: Mary Tennison (Kilgore), Imogine Owens (Teague) and Ruth Williams (Mexia); paternal great-grandparents: Wadell Smith, Sr. and wife, Jewel (Crockett).
