Homecoming festivities held all week for Teague

Although there was no football game this past week, homecoming festivities were still held over the weekend. Senior Kendall Thompson was crowned the 2020 Teague High School Homecoming Queen on Friday morning at the Homecoming pep rally. Sophomore Denham Hunt was named Homecoming Duchess.

On Friday evening, many THS graduates and community members enjoyed “Making the Drag” hosted by the Teague Christmas in the Parks committee. Many remiminsed on making the drag years ago.

The Homecoming parade was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, through downtown Teague. The THS Class of 1982 won the Grand Prize. The Most Elaborate float went to the THS Class of 2002, the Most Original float went to the THS Class of 1966, and the Most Humorous float went to the THS Class of 1998.
