FCSO receives several new vehicles
The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office recently announced the arrival of three new Patrol Unit vehicles to its’ stable, as well as the introduction of the first transport van for Freestone County.
These vehicles were due to be received by the FCSO in January after being approved by county commissioners in Sept. 2019, but the retrieval was set back due to the COVID-19 pandemic and a company strike involved with those manufacturing the vehicles. During that time, the office was short several vehicles, with maintenance issues rising with the older fleet of vehicles due to the delay.
