Lady Lions go down in four sets

The Groesbeck Lady Goats overcame a firstset 22-25 loss to defeat the Teague Lady Lions in three straight sets – 25-19, 25-12, 25-21 – in a home match Friday, Sept. 25.
In the first set, Reagan Heggins got up for a big block to put the Lady Lions up 6-5, and Denham Hunt served an ace for another point.
Teague went up 11-6 for its biggest lead. During the run, Carson Carroll hit a cross shot for a point and followed it up with a roll to the corner for another.
