Lady Lions outlast Mexia Ladycats in five sets

The third time against Mexia was the charm for the Teague Lady Lions volleyball team.
Having lost to the Ladycats twice at the Centerville Extravaganza during the previous week, Teague came back twice from match deficits and defeated Mexia in five sets at the Mexia High School gym on Tuesday, Aug. 27.
The Lady Lions were within one point of losing the match in the fifth game, but roared back with three unanswered points to clinch a 16-14 victory and gain the match win.
