Texas Brotherhood Riders trek through Bi-Stone counties
Hundreds of first-responders across the nation lose their lives annually. These fallen men and women and their families, however, are not forgotten in Texas.
A swarm of bicyclists rode into Mexia, Teague and Fairfield Thursday, Aug. 22, to honor firefighters, police officers and other first-responders who died in the line of duty.
The bike-riders are members of Texas Brotherhood Ride, a group that will have ridden their bicycles every day for a week – Saturday, Aug. 17, through Saturday, Aug. 24 – starting in Hempstead and ultimately ending in Austin.
