Freestone Health Clinic construction to begin soon

Construction for the new Freestone Health Clinic in Teague should begin within the next week or two and tentatively its grand opening will be shortly after Jan. 1.

The facility will be located east of Pharmacy Plus on Main Street downtown. This is an older building which will be reconstructed totally. It belongs to Tom Neal, owner of the pharmacy. John Yeary, administrator for the Freestone Medical Center in Fairfield, said the clinic will be a “full-blown medical operation.” It will be equipped to conduct routine exams and lab tests.
