Aldermen sworn in and official election canvas announced

The Teague City Council met Monday, May 13 to swear in the new Alderman and hear the official election canvas from the general election Saturday, May 4.
The final canvas states for Alderman Place II Rhonda Jones received 146 votes while Dennis Cox brought in 105 followed by Melvin Mims with 102 and Wendy Bain took 35.
For Alderman Place IV Chris Nickleberry took 311 with Jamie West following with 76 votes.
Finally, for Alderman Place V Ryan Mathison took 264 votes with Lois Mims following with 127 votes.
