tthe Angelic Hosts came for Frank McMillian on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia among loving family and devoted friends. Viewing will be held Friday, March 23, from 1-7 p.m. with the family present from 6-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 24 at 2:30 p.m. in the Moore’s Angelic Funeral Chapel with Pastor Earl Bell o ciating and Elder Billy Jackson, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery, North 1st Street in Teague. McMillian was the second child born to Van and Sallie McMillian in Orville, Ala. He grew up in Hazard, Ky. where he attended the public schools. He and his wife, Frances, were married in Bloomerville, Ky. in 1961 and they were the parents of two children: Frank Je ery McMillian and Chrystal Mc- Millian. Frank and Choicey were married on March 24, 1984 in Teague. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army in April 1955 and served in the Medical Corps until he was honorably discharged in 1957. He served three years in the Army Reserves. Frank was a graduate of e Kentucky School Of Embalming and worked as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Kentucky as well as Lotts Mortuary, Dallas, Dorsey & Keatts Funeral Home, Mexia, Community Funeral Home and Emanuel Funeral Home, Teague. He was the rst funeral director in charge of Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home, Teague. McMillian was a faithful member of e St. Paul Church-Of-God-In-Christ in Teague where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, and Trustee. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; a sister: Estelle Tate; a brotherin- law; two granddaughters: Destiny McMillian and Shakari Freeman. ose le to cherish his memory are: his faithful wife: Choicey McMillian, Teague; his son: Frank Jeffery McMillian, Lexington, Ky.; daughters: Crystal Mc- Millian, Bardstown, Ky.; Deirdre Carter; Shirley Freeman, Mexia; Sandra Hatcher and husband, Calvin of Mexia; and Lisa Shockley and husband, David of Mexia; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe Street, Teague is serving the Mc- Millian family.
