Georgia Means

Georgia Means, 84,resided in Jewett, Texas until 2011. She was born Aug. 25, 1933, and passed away Nov. 2, 2017. She was a resident at Willowbrook Nursing Center in Nacogdoches, Texas for the remainder of her life. Georgia was a member of the community here in Jewett. She enjoyed dominoes at the Civic Center. Georgia was a member of EPHESUS BAPTIST CHURCH. She was totally involved in her church and all it brought to her. The prison ministry singing was one of her joys. I know she touched many a soul through her Church family. She served the Lord proudly and was a devoted Christian. She will be missed. Georgia was preceded in death by her daughter Charlott Darlene, her husband Wesley Means of Donie. Her son Thomas Dale of Hawkins. Her granddaughter Mynde Price of Buffalo. Georgia is survived by her son Darrell Price his wife Tammy. David Price. Kim Ford and her husband Marty. Pam Borndaughter in law. Georgia had 10 grandchildren. Kik Harper, Brandy Born Mcdaniel, (Mynde Price), Kasey Price, Erick Price, Bill Price, Marty Ford, Crystal Price, Rocky Price, Brooke Price, and 5 great-grandchildren Elizah Price, Kyra Price, Clayton Price, Kayden Price, Drake Mcdaniel A memorial service will be held at Union Cemetary in Freestone, TX at 2:30 pm with Pastor Ray Payne officiating.
