FCSO honors Steele, Filis

Veterans were honored last Thursday at Veteran’s Day programs at all three Teague ISD campuses — Teague High School, Junior High and Elementary — where students read tributes in the form of essays and poems, and the band played patriotic tunes.
Freestone County did not have any significant storm damage last Friday despite having a tornado warning.
Freestone County Commissioners Court approved moving the office of Justice of the Peace 4 to Teague to share the space with the office of Justice of the Peace 2, despite objections from both Justices of the Peace 2 and 4.
