Former owner of Wayne’s Exxon returns to Teague and opens Wayne’s Diner

Wayne’s Diner, a popular eating establishment in Fairfield, has now moved to Teague and occupies the building Rancho Nuevo first occupied on the corner of 7th Avenue and Highway 84.
To the diner’s owner, Wayne Ward, moving to Teague feels like coming home. He owned and operated Wayne’s Exxon, by Freestone Credit Union in Teague, from 1984 to 1990.
