Western Week is in full swing before the 90th annual rodeo begins

Teague’s Fourth of July UPRA-CPRA Rodeo is celebrating a landmark 90th year June 27-29.

The Teague Fourth of July Rodeo and Rodeo Parade will begin Thursday, June 27 at 6 p.m. on Main Street. There will be prizes awarded to Best Dressed Cowboy, Best Dressed Cowgirl, Best Decorated Bicycle, Best Decorated ATV/Golf Cart, Best Decorated Business Float and Best Decorated Family Float.

With this, there are several events taking place all week to make the 90th Annual Rodeo year its best.

The street dance was a big success with a huge group of Teague residents coming out to support Christmas in the Park and to kick off Western Week with a bang.

Hamburgers and hot dogs and T-shirts were sold to benefit Christmas in the Park while people gathered around the stage to listen and dance to great music.
