Water loss for City decreases from 2017 numbers

City of Teague Public Works Director, Jacob Cowling, reported in the 2018 water audit report, the city has reduced water loss from 21.26 percent reported in 2017 to 10.29 percent for the 2018 reporting year.
“The dollar amount of the water loss for 2017 was $117,535.98,” Cowling reported. “The loss for this year was reduced to $63,769.28.”
The adjusted loss per connection daily was reported as 21.50 gallons per connection per day.
