Under quarantine? Fight family boredom
For those that are too close for comfort at home, communities have gotten creative for entertainment. From teachers that arrived in-person to greet students to online communities that keep information aflow, people are together...at a six-foot distance.
Beat the uncertainty by building a garden plot or chicken coop, or crafting the perfect furniture additions to your house. Most garden and utility stores are still open, with the spring season a good time to start plants or woodworking projects.
Research ways to support vital organizations during the statewide shelter in place order. Some organizations will need additional volunteers during and after the quarantine, with some hospitals in need of supplies. Some concerned groups have already donated handmade face masks and other supplies to area hospitals.
